Change in the deployment of our new Patent Service

Contrary to our earlier announcements, our new Patent Service will initially be released as a pilot. By using a limited pilot group, we can ensure that the service works as intended before wider deployment.

People filing a lot of patent applications can register for the pilot. The participants will receive further instructions when the pilot starts.

You can use the pilot version of our new service to:

• file Finnish patent applications or utility model applications
• respond to office actions and submit supplements to your applications
• file applications for supplementary protection certificates (SPCs)
