How accessible this service is

This online service is only partially compliant with the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services 306/2019, due to the non-compliance listed below.

Inaccessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reason: The information service at ytj.fi is technically dated. The problems cannot be corrected until the information service is revamped.

The following content or functions are not yet compliant with the requirements (according to the WCAG criteria), but the problems will be corrected:

  1. (WCAG 3.1.1) The language of the service has not been programmatically determined in any of the language versions.
  2. (WCAG 3.1.2) The parts of the service written in another language, such as language selection links, have not been programmatically determined as being in another language.
  3. (WCAG 1.1.1, 2.4.4) The logo “YTJ The Business Information System" does not have a specified text alternative. The “Vero - Skatt" logo on the Tax Debt Register page does not have a text alternative.
  4. (WCAG 1.3.1) Heading structures are missing on certain pages of the service.
  5. (WCAG 1.4.10) The service does not scale successfully without scrolling in two dimensions on a display that is 320 CSS pixels wide and 256 CSS pixels high.
  6. (WCAG 2.4.2) The pages do not have unique titles.
  7. (WCAG 1.3.1) The table structure has only been used for visual formatting.
  8. (WCAG 1.3.1) The table on the Tax Debt page has an incomplete and unclear structure.
  9. (WCAG 1.3.1, accessibility in general) The table on a company’s own page has a partially unclear structure.
  10. (WCAG 1.3.1, accessibility in general) The structure of the page providing more information about a specific detail is not clear.
  11. (WCAG 1.4.4) Some of the elements do not scale successfully when only the text size is increased by 200%.
  12. (WCAG 3.3.2, 3.3.1) The input fields for Business ID and LEI code are not provided with instructions on the required input format.
  13. (WCAG 2.4.3, 2.4.7, 3.3.1, 3.3.3) Search messages, Safari: Error messages are not read automatically, but only an (unclear) heading, Chrome: Error messages are not read automatically.
  14. Accessibility, usability in general: The search should include instructions on how to use the search.
  15. (WCAG 2.4.5, usability) Page navigation, the only way to get to the main page is by clicking on the “Back" link on different pages.
  16. (WCAG 2.4.1) There is no skip link for direct access to the content in the service.
  17. (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.1) The elements on the page are not programmatically determined.
  18. (WCAG 1.1.1, 2.1.1, 4.1.2, accessibility and usability in general) In the list element for search results, the arrow icons do not have text alternatives. They are partially invisible and cannot have keyboard focus.

  21. (WCAG 1.4.5, usability) In some cases, the email address included in the company details is provided using an image.
  22. (WCAG 2.4.3, 3.2.3, accessibility in general) On the Tax Debt Register page, the “Back" link is read by the screen reader after the table “Name of taxpayer". As a “Back" link usually comes at the end of the content, the information given in the column on the right may easily go entirely unnoticed by screen reader users.
  23. (WCAG 1.4.3) There are deficiencies in the contrasts between the text and the background.
  24. (WCAG 1.4.11) The borders of the form input fields do not have sufficient contrast with the background (1.3:1).

The PRH will do its best to make the inaccessible content accessible by the end of 2023.
