Accessibility statement: Renewal of trademark

The PRH works constantly to improve the accessibility of the service. We will update this statement when necessary.

How the accessibility statement was compiled

This statement was compiled on 22 May 2024.

The statement is based on:

• an evaluation by a third party (Eficode Oy) of whether the service meets the requirements laid down in Directive (EU) 2016/2102; and
• our own assessment that most of the problems the third party discovered in their assessment have been corrected according to the third party’s instructions.

The functions listed below do not yet meet the accessibility requirements, but we are working on ways to address the shortcomings as we develop the service further:

1. (WCAG 1.3.1) Some lists do not contain the tag, so screen readers do not read them correctly.
2. (WCAG 2.4.4) Some links do not have a text alternative indicating that the link opens in a new window.
3. (WCAG 2.4.2) Some pages in the service do not have a descriptive title.
4. (WCAG 1.4.11) There are deficiencies in the contrasts between the text, background and graphical elements.
5. (WCAG 4.1.2, 1.3.1, 1.1.1) In the date selectors, the current day is not determined programmatically, the date browser buttons are missing text alternatives, and the heading and data cells are not specified adequately.
6. (WCAG 1.4.4) In some places, the text does not scale correctly when the page is zoomed to 200%.
