PRH Annual Report and Corporate Responsibility Report 2023
The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) achieved most of its goals for 2023. Our financial situation remained stable due to higher than expected income from fees. However, maintenance and updating of essential information systems is boosting our expenditure and investment needs.
The PRH finalised its new strategy in spring 2023. Based on an analysis of the operating environment, internal workshops and external surveys, the PRH adopted ‘Ever better services in our customers’ interests’ as its vision.
With our new strategy, we will continue our work to provide our customers with better services by focusing on such areas as customer insight, digital and easy-to-use services, and better-functioning processes.
We promoted responsibility work by defining objectives for each of our responsibility areas for the period 2023–2028. The personnel were invited to participate in the process and to suggest concrete measures to meet the objectives. Some of them were selected for promotion from 2024 onwards.
