Corporate responsibility at the Patent and Registration Office
A responsible way of operating is the cornerstone of our work at the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH).
Our corporate responsibility work started in 2021, when we - like many other government agencies - had to identify the UN Sustainable Development Goals that we can promote in our activities. The same year we also compiled our first corporate responsibility report.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals most relevant to our activities and impact are- Gender equality (5)
- Decent work and economic growth (8)
- Industry, innovation and infrastructure (9)
- Peace, justice and strong institutions (16).
Corporate responsibility goals
We have set out the following six corporate responsibility goals for our activities:
- Diverse staff
- A coveted and responsible employer
- Greatest societal impact
- Our carbon footprint is at a sustainable level
- Stakeholder work is target-oriented and effective
- We create excellent customer value
In 2023, we will prepare a timetable and map out the path to achieving these goals.
The corporate responsibility goals are associated with our strategic objectives. Read more about the PRH strategy.
