Fees for utility model applications and registered utility models
The fees below are official fees and not subject to VAT.
Fees when filing an application
When filing a utility model application, you must pay a registration fee and, if needed, an additional fee for claims. The registration fee covers the first four years of registration.

Renewal of registration
A renewal fee for the registration is due for payment on the last day of the month when the registration period expires. The earliest you can pay your renewal fee is one year before the due date and the latest is six months after the due date. If you pay the renewal fee after the due date, you must also pay an additional fee.
