Change your register details

It is very important that you notify the PRH immediately if your name, company type, address or other such details change.

It is in your own interest to keep the register details up to date, as we rely on the register for example when we remind trademark owners of due renewals at least 6 months before their registrations expire.

How to apply

Change of address

You can notify us about a change of address (street or postal address) by email to tmposti@prh.fi. If the domicile or registered office also changes, file an application using the online service available in Finnish and in Swedish.

Other changes

Use our online service for registered trademarks (available in Finnish and in Swedish) to submit the changes. The service requires user identification through the Suomi.fi portal. Go to the service to submit changes. Open link in a new tab

Fees

In most cases, we charge a fee for changing the register details. Note that if you are paying for the application from abroad you must also pay any handling fees charged by your bank. See the fees in our price list and payment instructions.

Language of registration

You can change the language of registration from Swedish to Finnish or vice versa.

Use our online service for registered trademarks (available in Finnish and in Swedish) to submit your application to record the change.

You cannot change the language of registration to English.
