PRH Trademark Information Service
Our Trademark Information Service provides basic details of pending national and international (WIPO) trademark applications and valid registrations in Finland. The service also provides information about applications that have been withdrawn, dismissed, rejected, or rejected due to opposition.

Our Trademark Information Service offers you a quick and easy way of studying, for instance, the types of marks that have already been registered, or the status of a certain application.
The following are some examples of ways you can search for information:- by an individual application or registration number;
- by a specific word to retrieve marks containing the word in question; or
- by client to retrieve registrations and applications pertaining to a certain client.
EU trademark database: eSearch plus
The EU trademark database provided by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the EU trademark database contains information about registered and pending EU trademarks. These trademarks are valid in all EU countries, which means they can constitute an obstacle to registering a trademark in Finland.

Company search at ytj.fi
Use the company search at ytj.fi to search for company names and basic company details in the Finnish Trade Register. Company names and auxiliary company names may be an obstacle to registering a trademark if the company’s line of business covers the same kinds of goods or services as the trademark.
The company search is provided by the PRH and the Finnish Tax Administration.

TMview
The TMview information service provides access to the trademark databases of more than sixty trademark offices, including many countries outside Europe.
Please note that TMview also contains many trademarks that do not constitute an obstacle to registering a trademark in Finland.

List of Trademarks with a Reputation
If a trademark has a reputation, it enjoys stronger trademark protection than usual. Trademarks with a reputation in Finland can be entered in the List of Trademarks with a Reputation on application.
