Creditor’s objection to a public notice recorded in the Finnish Trade Register

A creditor’s notification of objection is a free-form written statement. The notification must indicate the grounds for the debt and the amount of principal as accurately as can be reasonably demanded. The notification must also state the creditor’s name and contact details.

The notification must also include the name of the representative, if any, or other contact person. Enter the contact details of the contact person using the personal data form. Open: personal data form (pdf, 197.3 kt). The contact details of the contact person are not public in applications that have become pending since 1 January 2025.

The creditor, or a representative the creditor has authorised, signs the notification. If an authorised person signs the notification, enclose a certified copy of a special power of attorney or the original general power of attorney.

It is also important to indicate the company and circumstance to which the objection relates.

  • If you object to a merger, state the company whose merger you object to.
  • If you object to a demerger, state the company whose demerger you object to.
  • If you object to a reduction of share capital, state the company whose share capital reduction you object to.

You can file your notification with the Finnish Patent and Registration Office in any of the following ways:
