Our revamped open data service: more companies included and an opportunity to download information

We have revamped the PRH open data service, which provides application developers with company data.

You can now access details of companies registered or pending at the Finnish Trade Register, except private traders. In addition, the service does not provide information about municipalities, wellbeing services counties, or tax partnerships. See the company forms at the Finnish Trade Register.

We have improved the service so that all the information about valid businesses can now be obtained as a compressed file in a single download.

Old interfaces available until 31 October 2024

We have made technical changes to the service interfaces. You can use the old interfaces until 31 October 2024.

What are PRH open data?

The PRH’s open data are available free of charge. You can use an interface to add basic details about companies from the Finnish Business Information System at ytj.fi to your application. The basic details include company name details and the registers of the Finnish Tax Administration to which the companies have been added.

The data are digital and updated once a day.
