Publication of trademark and design registrations to speed up

In the future, we will publish new trademark and design registrations in our new Industrial Property Gazette service right after registration. The opposition period of two months begins on the publication date of the registration.

During the opposition period, anyone can file an opposition against the registered trademark or design.

Earlier, we published trademark registrations twice a month and design registrations once a month in PDF format. Due to the new information service and changes to the publication frequency, we are able to publish new registrations in the service every day.

In the new service, we will publish notifications on trademarks and design rights as well as the trademarks admitted to the List of Trademarks with a Reputation. The service also allows you to easily search publication details on registered trademarks and design rights from a specific period.

The new service will open during Tuesday 16 August 2022.

We will later extend the service with publications and notifications on patents and design rights.
