PRH and General Directorate of Industrial Property of Republic of Albania working together
Despite the coronavirus situation, patent offices continue to collaborate. At the end of 2020, a memorandum of understanding was signed by the director generals of the General Directorate of Industrial Property of Republic of Albania (GDIP) and the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) in Tirana and Helsinki. The five-year agreement period began on 1 January 2021.

The collaboration includes exchange of information and best practices, staff training and provision of IPR information. One important goal is to draw special attention to industrial property rights in innovation and economic growth.
