Schedules for filing notifications with the Finnish Trade Register by the end of the year

The Finnish Trade Register receives significantly more notifications towards the end of the year.

Online start-up notifications and notifications concerning the right of representation (for example, changes to the board of directors) filed using the online service at ytj.fi are registered quickly.

Here are the estimated deadlines by which the PRH must receive your notifications to make sure that we can process them by the end of the year.

Start-up notifications

We aim to register the following notifications by the end of the year if we receive them by Monday 22 September 2025:

  • Start-up notifications filed using the online service at ytj.fi – housing companies
  • Start-up notifications filed using the online service at ytj.fi – mutual real estate limited companies
  • Start-up notifications on online or paper form

When limited liability companies or private traders file start-up notifications using the online service at ytj.fi, we aim to register them by the end of the year if we receive them by Monday 1 December 2025.

Notifications of changes

If we receive notifications of changes, other than those concerning company bodies, by Monday 22 September 2025, we aim to register them by the end of the year. The date applies to notifications filed using the online service at ytj.fi and on paper or online forms.

If you file changes to company bodies using the online service at ytj.fi (for example, changes to the board of directors), we aim to register them by the end of the year if we receive them by Monday 1 December 2025.

Merger and demerger

If we receive your notification of the draft terms of a merger or demerger or your application for public notice by Monday 1 December 2025, we aim to register it by the end of the year.

Our deadline for notifications of the implementation of mergers and demergers is Monday 1 December 2025, if you want the implementation to be registered before the end of the year.
