How to request a certain registration date for a Trade Register notification

The PRH makes exceptions to the processing order of notifications only for justifiable reasons. When you request a certain date or accelerated processing for your notification, remember to mention the reason for your request.

We observe the requests whenever possible, but cannot, however, answer your requests separately.

Before submitting your notification to the Trade Register

If you use our online or paper forms (“Y forms”) to file your notifications, select “Tick this box if you are asking for registration by a desired date” on page 1 of the form. Please note that requests submitted on the pages of the form that are only processed by the Finnish Tax Administration do not come to the notice of the Finnish Trade Register.

Submit a separate request together with your paper notification submitted on an online form or a paper form. The request must include the reason why the notification should be registered on a certain date or why its processing should be accelerated.

After submitting your notification

You can request a certain registration date or accelerated processing even after you have filed your notification. This is also possible when you have filed your notification in the online service at ytj.fi.

Send your request by email. The request must include the reason why the notification should be registered on a certain date, the requested date of registration, the company’s name, Business ID, if any, and details of the notification in question (such as its record number).
