Filing financial statements with tax returns with the Trade Register

File your financial statements with your tax return if your company type is any of the following:

  • limited liability company;
  • co-operative;
  • co-operative bank or savings bank; or
  • mutual insurance company.

Other company types must tile their financial statements with the Trade Register separately. Go to our instructions: Filing financial statements directly with the Trade Register.

When you file your financial statements with your tax return, please enclose the financial statements with the tax return exactly as instructed by the Tax Administration. The Tax Administration will forward the correctly enclosed financial statements to the Trade Register within about a week.

Filing tax returns is free of charge.

Please note: In certain situations, a company does not need to file their financial statements. However, most companies must file their financial statements with the Trade Register for each financial period, even if they have interrupted or stopped their business activities.
