Annual transparency report

Collective management organisations shall draw up an annual transparency report referred to in the Annex to Directive 2014/26/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the collective management of copyright and the related rights and multi-territorial licensing of rights in musical works for online use in the internal market, which shall contain a special report on the social, cultural and educational services provided by the collective management organisation.

The accounting information included in the annual transparency report shall be audited according to the Finnish Auditing Act, and the audit report, including any qualifications thereto, shall be reproduced in full in the annual transparency report.

The collective management organisation shall publish the annual transparency report on its website within eight months from the end of that financial year, and the report has to be available to the public on that website for at least five years.

The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) has given guidelines on preparing the transparency reports on 13 December 2021. You can ask for the guidelines by email from the PRH registry: registry@prh.fi
