Changes in PCT fees from 1 January 2022

Due to a change in the euro/Swiss franc rate, the WIPO has decided to revise the PCT fees below.

The new fees will take effect on 1 January 2022 and are available on the WIPO website at www.wipo.int/export/sites/www/pct/en/fees.pdf.

  • International filing fee EUR 1,235 (2021: EUR 1,233)
  • Reduction on the international filing fee for electronic applications:
    • The entire application (request, description, claims and abstract) in character-coded format EUR 279 (2021: EUR 278)
    • The request in character-coded format EUR 186 (2021: EUR 185)
  • Handling fee (IPEA/FI) EUR 186 (2021: EUR 185)
