Even better access to supplementary protection certificates for patents in PatInfo

We have further improved the access to patent supplementary protection certificate (SPC) documents in our PatInfo service.

The following documents are now also available in the service: applications for the extension of SPCs for medicinal products for paediatric use, with enclosures, and SPC (PPC) application forms for plant protection products, with enclosures.

In November 2020, we informed that decisions on SPC applications as well as SPC application forms with enclosures are available in PatInfo.

In addition, we have added the following public notices about SPCs in our Patent Gazette:

  • all filed and finalised SPC and PPC applications
  • applications for the extension of SPCs
  • granted SPCs and how SPCs are extended.

We also publish invalid or lapsed SPCs in the Patent Gazette.
