Fees relating to design right applications and registrations
For an application to become pending, it is an unconditional requirement that the application fees be paid. Banking charges, if any, must be included in the amount paid, and a copy of the receipt has to be enclosed with the application. We do not refund application fees to the applicants if the application is rejected or dismissed, and not even if the applicants themselves withdraw their application. These fees under public law are exempt from VAT.
The fees are based on the Decree of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy on the Chargeable Services of the Finnish Patent and Registration Office.
Price list for design right examinations and information searches
The fees are based on a decision taken by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office under the Decree of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy on the Chargeable Services of the Finnish Patent and Registration Office. These commercial fees include VAT 25,5%.
