From 2026, companies must file their notifications and applications online with the Finnish Trade Register. This does not apply to private traders.
Did you receive a letter about late financial statements?
File the financial statements immediately using our service at ytj.fi. The PRH imposes a fee for late submission if limited liability companies and co-operatives do not submit their financial statements to the Trade Register within eight months of the end of each financial period. The amount of the fee depends on the length of the delay.
Apply for financial support by the SME Fund
Small and medium-sized companies have the opportunity to receive financial support in order to protect their intellectual property starting from February 2026. The support is granted by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
